Hosted in the world’s innovation center, Silicon Valley, the 2011 Shanghai Jiao Tong University North America Alumni Summit provides an unparalleled opportunity of networking with both established fellow alumni and aspiring ones around the world. Generations after generations, SJTU graduates have built a well-respected reputation of being both innovative and entrepreneurial. The Summit is the single most prominent event in North America for SJTU alumni to reunite, share memories, and chart the future together. The Summit aims to foster stronger bonding among alumni and empower them to lead in all corners of this globalized economy.


The 2011 Summit is jointly hosted by SJTU Alumni Association of Silicon Valley (SJTU-SV), SJTU North America Foundation (SJTUFA), and SJTU itself. SJTU will send to the summit a Grand Delegation that is headed by SJTU’s President, Prof. ZHANG Jie . Numerous celebrity SJTU alumni and friends will attend the Summit. In addition, the award-winning SJTU Symphony will perform live at the Summit.
