Message from the President: Qing Zhu
Dear Alumni and Friends,
I feel honored to be representing our organization and leading the effort of our volunteers for our small community. Thanks for the great effort James Jin has put in as President of 2008, our organization is at its best position financially.
This year, we will continue our traditions for Night of Shanghai which is already concluded on Feb. 28th, Shanghai Noon--Summer BBQ, different seminars caatering to different needs of our community. Another effort I will put in is to improve our alumni support of each other. Setup the alumni database. Also will try to start some activity with Jiao Da to support education in Gui Zou province. More detail will be provided. Will try to strengthen our relationships with other alumni organizations. Here is my view and goal for our organization:
我们是一个为校友和朋友们提供交流和互相帮助的平台。
大学，我们曾经共同的学习和生活经历给了我们同样的梦想；
硅谷，相近的闯荡新世界的挣扎给了我们互相帮助的最好理由；
校训，海外游子要报效祖国和母校的共同理想让我们团结起来。
老中青的校友和朋友们:
我们在这平台一起为我们的成就欢笑，
我们在这平台一起为祖国的强大而自豪，
我们交流在异国他乡传承中华民族文化的经验，
我们有着同样的动机来教育我们的下一代和中国息息相连。
饮水思源，与日共进!
